The Marathon Plus is described by the manufacturer as puncture proof. Of course, punctures can still occur, but the risk is minimal with this tyre. Another great advantage of the Marathon Plus tire is its good rolling performance and long service life with high mileage.
The tire is a classic construction of wire bead and 67 TPI casing. Underneath the tread is a 5mm thick layer of synthetic rubber, one third of which comes from recycled materials.
