The Marathon Plus Tire is described by the manufacturer as puncture-resistant. While a puncture can still occur, the risk with this tire is minimal. Another significant advantage of the Marathon Plus tire is its good rolling performance and long lifespan, allowing for a high mileage.
The tire features a classic steel bead construction with a 67 TPI casing. Beneath the tread lies a 5 mm thick layer of synthetic rubber, one-third of which is made from recycled materials.
