The Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour 28x1,75 tire will give you peace of mind when the road turns from asphalt to gravel. It tracks straight, smooths out bumps, and stands up to everyday commuting as well as long trips.
The versatile tread feels confident on the road, bike paths, and hard-packed dirt roads, so you don’t have to overthink where you’ll ride. It’s great for city cycling as well as multi-day touring.
The SmartGuard protection significantly reduces the risk of punctures from glass shards and small sharp gravel. It’s a tire that can take rougher treatment and still holds its shape.
The Addix Green compound is designed with a high share of renewable and recycled materials in mind. At the same time, it maintains predictable traction and stability in corners.
The reflective strip improves side visibility in the city and at dusk outside built-up areas. In traffic, it’s a detail that matters.
The tire size is 28x1,75 inches and corresponds to the ETRTO designation 47-622.
The recommended pressure range is 3,0–5,0 bar for balanced rolling resistance and confident handling.
Maximum load capacity is 121 kg per tire when properly inflated.
The tire weighs 1 440 g, and the bead is wire for a secure fit in the rim.
Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour is a wire-bead tube-type tire for riders who want reliability across different surfaces. You’ll appreciate it for commuting, traveling with panniers, and on e-bikes rated E-50.
If what you’re looking for most is calm, worry-free miles without unnecessary stops, the combination of a durable construction and smart protection makes sense. The black version with a reflective strip also looks understated while still helping visibility.
