Schwalbe Rick XC Pro TLR, E-25, Addix Speedgrip 29x2,25 was made for exactly those days when you want more speed from your bike without unnecessary compromises.
Schwalbe Rick XC Pro is an MTB tire focused on cross-country pace, where hardpack, roots, and fast corners alternate. Thanks to the ADDIX SpeedGrip compound, it offers a balanced mix of dependable traction and low rolling resistance, so it accelerates easily and can still “bite” when needed. The construction includes a reinforced transition zone between the center and side blocks, which helps protect against the typical pinch-flat on an edge (so-called SnakeBite) during harder impacts. In character, it also sits between race-fast and ultra-light tires – it’s quicker than classic all-round XC rubber, yet still provides solid support when leaned over.
The tire comes in a size with a rim diameter of 29 inches and a width of 2.25 inches, with dimensions also matching the ETRTO 57-622 marking for precise fit on modern XC rims. It is a TLR tubeless-ready version, so with the right sealant and installation you can ride with a lower risk of punctures and better comfort. The casing with a density of 67 TPI strikes a sensible balance between compliance and durability, and the tire weighs around 680 g, which is a very practical value for fast XC use.
