The Shimano GRX Di2 2x12 RX825 set is optimized for riding on forest paths and roads with chainrings of 48/31T or 46/30T in conjunction with an 11-34T or 11-36T cassette. With these ratios, an exceptionally wide gear range is ensured, so you can maintain a comfortable cadence whether you're rolling on flat terrain, clocking miles on country roads, or tackling massive climbs off-road.
Shimano embraces a semi-wireless path for electronic systems, where individual shifting components do not have their own small battery but are powered by a single wire from the battery hidden in the seat tube, thus achieving much longer functionality and battery life.
Among other things, the derailleur features LED battery status indication and lock - ON for gravel riding, OFF for smooth terrain without off-road obstacles.
