When the road changes from smooth asphalt to a broken surface, you want to brake calmly and shift without hesitation. Shimano Tiagra BR-4770 + ST-4725 adds confidence to your ride that you’ll feel in every corner.
A hydraulic disc brake with mechanical shifting combines precise brake-force modulation with the natural, quick Tiagra shifting feel. The response remains predictable even in the rain.
The front version for the left side increases control over the bike when entering corners and on long descents. The lever sits comfortably in your hand and supports a stable grip.
The lever reach adjustment mechanism helps riders with smaller hands find a comfortable position as well. That gives you better feel at the brake.
Polymer brake pads with a cooling fin handle heat during frequent braking and maintain consistent performance. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to One Way Bleeding technology.
Technical designation of the set: ST-4725/BR-4770.
Intended use: front brake and lever for the left side.
Drivetrain compatibility: Shimano Road 2x10-speed.
The hydraulic hose is 1000 mm long and uses mineral oil.
This Tiagra J-kit set is built for road bikes where you want to combine precise shifting with confident disc braking. The black finish looks clean and blends easily into a modern build.
The hydraulics deliver smooth operation and better control in changing weather. With lever reach adjustment, you can easily fine-tune the ergonomics to match your grip.
If you’re dialing in a bike for long rides, training, and a fast weekend pace, you’ll get reliable control without unnecessary complications.
