Sidas thin running socks, suitable for running on paved trails and roads.
They offer a thin construction to improve surface contact and proprioception. The socks feature Grip Yarn anti-slip strips that reduce friction, along with the running insole, they also reduce the risk of blisters and pressure points. The socks are made with a fine 200-needle knitting technique. They are treated with Polygiene technology, which fights odors and extends the longevity of the socks.
Their breathability is ensured by a ventilation zone along the arch, with reinforcement around the ankle to help maintain the correct foot position. To ensure the runner is visible in darkness, the cuff of the sock includes a reflective band.
Sweat itself is odorless. However, in conjunction with textiles, they form an ideal medium for the multiplication of bacteria leading to the creation of unpleasant odors. The Polygiene® treatment concentrated on the surface of the textile forms a protective layer that destroys this bacterial growth through the action of a low amount of 100% concentrated silver chloride.
