The Silca Chain Striper and Super Secret package is a combination of a quality degreaser and wax.
Chain Striper is a biodegradable product for easy and quick chain degreasing before applying wax. It also functions as a primer, providing a base for better wax adhesion.
You can use the Chain Striper:
1) On a chain already mounted on the bike - apply drop by drop to each link and let it sit for about 10 minutes, then reapply drop by drop and rinse the chain with water.
2) On a new/dismounted chain - place the chain in a jar, pour the Chain Stripper over it, shake vigorously for about 1 minute, let it sit for another 9 minutes, then remove the chain from the jar and rinse with water.
Then apply the wax.
