Silvini Soracte are versatile winter pants designed for active skiers, especially ski mountaineers and cross-country skiers, but they can also be used for skating or running in cold windy conditions.
To achieve ideal properties, they are made from two different materials. The pants combine Woven Stretch, Powertherm materials and a Quatroflex Power membrane with a water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24 h, ensuring reliable protection against wind and optimal moisture wicking. The back is made from a highly breathable soft material, which helps with thermoregulation, facilitating movement while maintaining wearing comfort.
The softshell is inherently flexible, but to simplify bending at the knees, it is pre-bent and divided into two parts.
An elastic waistband with two strips of silicone adhered to the rear waistband ensures the pants stay in place. The outside features a zipper extending from the bottom edge almost to the knee. When opened, the pants widen by about 7 cm, allowing them to be worn over ski mountaineering boots.
On the outside of the thighs, there are 30 cm long zippers designed for increased ventilation at higher winter temperatures or during very active movement. Mesh sewn underneath them prevents snow from entering when open for ventilation.
