Sponser Liquid Energy Ultra is a delicious energy gel that contains complex carbohydrates and MCT based on high-quality plant oils (coconut, macadamia, olive). The gel has been developed to support long-lasting endurance performances with low intensity and significantly differs from other gels by having a higher energy density due to its fat content.
The gel is also enriched with sodium and BCAA. Branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) regenerate and protect muscle mass. Targeted BCAA supplementation helps delay the feeling of fatigue by stabilizing the BCAA ratio to tryptophan. Tryptophan is a key amino acid in the production of the hormone serotonin, which signals fatigue. Tryptophan and BCAA utilize the same transport system, which allows their transfer from the blood to the brain. With increased BCAA supplementation, there is less passage of tryptophan to the brain, thus delaying the onset of fatigue.
The energy gel can be consumed on its own or squeezed into your sports drink (1 sachet/200 ml of water).
