The single-chainring cranks from the new Sram Apex series rely on the proven DUB axle and X-Sync direct mount chainring, in this case with 40 teeth.
The Apex cranks are designed for Wide bottom brackets and, therefore, have a chain line modified for use with wider rear triangles to allow for wider tyres. The cranks are compatible with 135-mm, 142-mm, and 148-mm Boost rear wheel spacing.
The drivetrain features X-SYNC technology with precisely profiled, wide and narrow teeth. This technology provides maximum chain control and minimizes the risk of chain drop.
