Superior XR 9.7 GR gravel bike Gloss Grey / Grey is a race-tuned gravel bike built for fast riding on both tarmac and gravel. It sits in a higher performance class where weight, efficient power transfer, and precise handling matter most. It’s aimed at experienced riders who care about pace, stability, and dependable components for longer routes and bikepacking.
The SU-52-01 frame is made from Carbon XR Race Mid Modulus carbon composite with Road Advanced Geometry and Flat Mount disc brake mounts. The BB86.5 bottom bracket uses a press-fit interface and is designed for the DUB Road Wide standard. The rear end uses a 142x12 mm thru-axle and an SH dropout. Cable routing is internal, the frame is Di2 compatible, and it includes mounts for fenders.
The bike is available in sizes 490 mm (XS), 520 mm (S), 540 mm (M), 560 mm (L), 580 mm (XL) and 610 mm (XXL). The ACROS AIX-318R1 headset uses integrated ICR routing for clean hose and cable routing at the front. The XR Mid Modulus carbon fork rounds out the bike’s character for fast gravel riding.
Drivetrain: SRAM Force XPLR AXS electronic shifting comes in a 1x13 setup with a Force XPLR AXS rear derailleur. The Force XPLR DUB Wide crankset uses a 44-tooth chainring, and the XG-1371 cassette offers a 10–46 range.
Brakes: SRAM Force AXS hydraulic disc brakes use SRAM Centerline X rotors. The front rotor is 160 mm and the rear is 140 mm.
Wheels and tires: DT Swiss GRC 1600 wheelset is carbon, Tubeless Ready, and features a 42 mm rim height. Schwalbe G-One RS Performance tires in size 40-622 are TL-Ready with RaceGuard protection.
Cockpit: ONE Alloy X-Race Aero handlebars have a 70 mm reach and 127 mm drop. The ONE Race ICR stem with a -7° angle follows the integrated routing, and the ONE Aero Carbon seatpost is paired with a Fizi:k Vento Argo R5 saddle.
The XR Race Mid Modulus carbon frame construction targets high stiffness under acceleration and stable tracking at higher speeds. Road Advanced Geometry supports an efficient position for maintaining speed on the flats and on climbs. 40-622 tires boost confidence on gravel and reduce fatigue on longer rides. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160/140 mm rotors provide predictable modulation on long descents.
Superior XR 9.7 GR is for riders who want a fast-feeling gravel bike with electronic shifting for precise gear changes under load. It’s well suited to sporty rides, long gravel transfers, and bikepacking, with an emphasis on low weight and stable handling. In its segment, it goes up against race-oriented gravel bikes with carbon wheels and a wireless drivetrain.
