Modified and more powerful version of the best-selling Tacx trainer. The interactive Tacx Neo 2T Smart trainer is among the trainers where power is not transmitted through the tire, making it so quiet that you will only hear your chain. After removing the rear wheel, you attach the frame using a thru axle or quick release directly into the trainer.
For bikes with a thru axle, adapters for a 142/148x12mm thru axle are included in the package.
The electromagnetic brake with a maximum power of 2200 W enables more precise power transfer and measurement. It can be used with or without electricity, as the brake generates it itself. It can simulate inclines up to 25% as well as a flat road if you use the trainer without controls.
The Tacx T2875 Neo 2T Smart is controlled via a phone (iPhone 4s and higher or Android 4.3 and higher) or tablet (iPad 3 and higher, iPad mini, and iPad Air or Android 4.3 and higher) through a freely available app (App Store and Google Play). It is compatible with popular training apps like Zwift, Tacx, Trainerroad, Rouvy, Sufferfest, Kinomap, Fulgaz, Bkool, Road Grand Tours.
Communication between the trainer and phone / tablet happens via Bluetooth. The trainer is also equipped with ANT+ transmission, which is used for connection to a PC using free apps available on the App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store.
The Tacx Neo 2T Smart trainer includes a mat for the front wheel. Another advantage is the foldable support legs - a great benefit if you do not have enough space.
The hub is designed for a Shimano 8-11 speed cassette, Sram. The Campa, XD hub can be purchased additionally. (The cassette is not included in the package)
The chest strap is not included in the package, but it is possible to use chest straps with ANT+ or Bluetooth transmission, for example, Tacx T1994 (Polar BT straps do not work). Another optional accessory is the T2092 tablet mount.
