Troy Lee Designs A3 is a new enduro helmet with a modern, simple design and the MIPS system.
The MIPS brain protection offers defense against high and low speeds and reduces rotational impact energy by approximately 20-35%.
It has 16 ventilation openings for optimal airflow. EPS and EPP foam with dual density provide better head protection, and along with the MIPS system, you'll be in complete safety in case of a fall. It has been tested with sunglasses, which fit perfectly and do not get in the way.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet.
