The Troy Lee Designs A3 is a new enduro helmet with a modern, sleek design and equipped with the MIPS system. MIPS brain protection offers safety against both high and low speeds, reducing rotational impact energy by about 20-35%.
It features 16 ventilation ports for optimal airflow. The EPS and EPP dual-density foam ensures better head protection and, along with the MIPS system, keeps you in complete safety in case of a fall.
It has been tested with sunglasses that fit perfectly without any obstruction.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
