The ideal choice for cooler days on the trail.
The main material is made of 4-way stretch fabric from polyester and spandex. The inner side of the pants is insulated with brushed material that pleasantly warms and efficiently wicks moisture.
The back and crotch areas are equipped with breathable panels made from Aero Tech micro ripstop material, which is stretchable in all directions and helps regulate temperature during more demanding ascents.
The inner silicone print helps keep the pants securely in place. Zippered pockets allow for safe storage of small items even while riding.
The back of the knees is equipped with laser perforation for better ventilation. The closure is done with a classic zipper and button.
The material meets Bluesign certification.
Bluesign® is an internationally recognized sustainability standard with a focus on chemistry, developed by the Swiss group Bluesign Technologies. Their goal is to guarantee consumers the highest standard of product safety. Spandex, Lycra or elastane are synthetic fibers known for their exceptional elasticity. It is stronger and more durable than natural rubber. It is a polyester-polyurethane copolymer that was invented in 1958 by chemist Joseph Shivers at DuPont's Benger Laboratory in Waynesboro, Virginia. The advantage of spandex is its significant strength and elasticity, and the ability to return to its original shape after stretching and to dry faster than ordinary fabrics.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
