The Skyline jersey features a ventilated perforated material, known as "mesh," which ensures excellent ventilation. The material used for the jersey is very high-quality and comfortable, ensuring, among other things, the jersey's long lifespan. With the high-quality print, you are protected from UV radiation.
UV radiation type A. UVA rays have the longest wavelength, they tan the skin and thus contribute to its premature aging. This type of radiation has a lower energy than type B radiation and penetrates the deepest into the eye. However, there is no clear opinion on its harmfulness.
Type B UV radiation. This type of radiation is partially shielded by the ozone layer, but part of it falls on the earth's surface. UVB rays are responsible for burning the skin and are the cause of skin cancer and eye problems such as cataracts. Extreme exposure to UVB radiation can lead to serious eye damage (e.g. so-called snow blindness).
UV C. This is the UV with the highest energy content and potentially the most harmful to the eyes and skin. Fortunately, the atmospheric ozone layer blocks out virtually all type C UV radiation.
