Urtopia Carbon 1 Pro city e-bike black

Description

Used (e-)bike always shows signs of use, and whether that’s a lot or a little is up to you to decide. Write to us for more details, photos, or information. We’ll be happy to answer any questions. We view used bikes from several angles of usability:

• I don’t want to or can’t invest more money in a new one
• I don’t know whether I’ll actually use or need an (e-)bike at all
• I only ride x times a year; I don’t need a new bike for that

Urtopia Carbon 1 Pro městské elektrokolo černá is a city e-bike for commuting and leisure, with an emphasis on low weight and efficient assistance. It uses a hub motor and a removable battery for everyday city riding. With its equipment, it targets the higher class of lightweight e-bikes for experienced riders who care about the balance between weight and range.

Frame and geometry

The frame is made from Toray® Carbon Fiber composite and aims for stiffness while keeping weight low. The geometry is tuned for an urban pace and stability at higher speeds on 28" wheels. Sizes S, M, and L are available, with a stepped wheelbase for different rider heights. Effective top tube length is 594 mm (S), 618 mm (M), and 653 mm (L).

Components

Drive: The e-drive consists of a 250W hub motor with 45 Nm, comparable to a 65 Nm mid-drive. Assistance response is latency-free when pedal pressure changes.

Brakes: The bike uses disc brakes for consistent performance in wet conditions. The control type is designed for city riding and frequent stops.

Wheels and tires: The wheels have a diameter of 28" and support fast rolling on asphalt. The size suits urban and suburban use.

Cockpit: The integrated display is recessed into the cockpit for clean information presentation. Grip height is adjustable according to frame size within the given range.

Ride characteristics

The carbon frame transfers power into acceleration without noticeable twisting under load. The mid-drive motor with a torque sensor meters assistance in proportion to pedal pressure, which feels natural. The 18,6 kg weight helps handling in dense traffic and when carrying it up stairs. The removable battery makes charging easier outside a garage and supports longer daily ranges.

Who it’s for

This model is intended for riders who want a city e-bike with lower weight and quick assistance response. It makes sense for longer commutes, regular elevation changes, and a riding pace close to that of a conventional bike. Compared to city e-bikes with an aluminum frame, it will typically offer noticeably easier handling.
