The Orbea Oiz is an uncompromising full-suspension XC bike with a travel of 120 mm. The Oiz is the fastest XC bike that has left the Orbea factory in over 180 years.
Main features of the bike:
The modern geometry and smart suspension, designed with a travel of 120 mm, deliver extra fun on every ride without compromising weight or efficiency.
The historical dilemma of choosing between 100 mm and 120 mm of travel required a compromise. The Oiz provides the confidence of 120 mm and the weight and efficiency of 100 mm.
The I-line frame technology is the smartest integration of the rear shock on the market.
The Squidlock lever control is designed to work with the I-line technology, allowing easy control of your shock and seatpost, and also facilitates integration with brake clamps for further simplifying your cockpit.
In pursuit of stiffness and clean lines, Orbea engineers reworked the Fiberlink rocker injected with long fibers to provide increased rigidity to the rear triangle.
The tubeless OQUO MP wheels maximize performance with a specific design for the front and rear. The front wheels utilize higher rim walls to increase stiffness and precision, while the rear wheels use a wider rim bed to maximize puncture resistance. The wheels must be light and stiff for acceleration and climbing, yet comfortable and reliable for increasingly tough descents.
The SIC system routes cables in the best way through the headset, internal guides, and invisibly from the front to the rear triangle via Cable Pass.
The Oiz cockpit includes OC handlebars and stem that allow for cable routing of the SIC system while offering a combination of stiffness and low weight demanded by racers.
The UFO system – elimination of pivots from the rear triangle offers great suspension performance, increases lateral stiffness, and provides maintenance-free reliability.
Sealing the main pivot bearings, which are the most exposed, increases their lifespan and helps keep the suspension functioning optimally.
The lightweight and simple Spin Block prevents handlebar over-rotation and damage to your beautiful frame.
The Vinyl protection defends areas that are more susceptible to potential frame damage.
