The full-suspension Jam bike delivers maximum fun on every ride. Its geometry makes it an excellent machine for challenging terrains. It offers the agility needed for rough descents and carbon wheels for control on easy climbs up steep hills.
The frame features a Flip Chip system, allowing for a change in geometry, specifically a slight shift in the head tube angle from 65.5° to 65°. This makes the bike more downhill-oriented.
The specialty of this fun bike lies in the details. You can store your essentials in the down tube of the lightweight carbon bike thanks to the I.C.S. (Internal Compartment Solution) technology. Your gear fits into an integrated tool bag, which you can easily remove when needed.
The unique C.I.S. cockpit design (Cockpit Integration Solution) ensures smooth shifting and braking.
F.O.L.D. kinematics have been upgraded in this instance. The popular sensitivity of F.O.L.D. has been retained, but the placement of the kinematics in the frame has changed for strong resistance at the lower end. The characteristics are entirely progressive, resulting in a chassis that offers great stability, making you feel safe in any terrain.
- lightweight carbon frame with internal C.I.S. cable routing and I.C.S. storage technology
- 150 mm travel with F.O.L.D. kinematics optimized for more progression: Fox 36 Float Performance suspension fork and Fox Float X Performance rear shock
- precise Shimano XT 1x12 shifting and powerful Shimano XT 4-piston brakes
All Mountain Bikes. Valid for bicycles or EPAC. Also includes classifications 1,2,3. Designed for extreme jumps and downhill impacts on rough roads, at speeds below 40 km/h. Jumps less than 120 cm.
F.O.L.D. (FOCUS OPTIMIZED LINKAGE DESIGN) is a patented triangular rear construction system where the suspension path is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the suspension is extremely responsive and absorbs even the smallest bumps and dips to create extra traction. In the second phase, the structure offers sufficient control even in the strongest impacts while preventing damage to the rim. In general, the suspension travel is much longer.
C.I.S (Cockpit Integration Solution) is a specific wiring harness system for mechanical shifting, running on the handlebars through the stem and headset to the head tube. For optimal shifting and braking quality, there is a large bend to keep all cables running smoothly. Only this sufficient flex ensures that in the long run no shifting problems due to wear occur.
The Internal Compartment Solution (I.C.S.) is a practical and aesthetic tool and accessory storage system integrated directly into the Focus frame. The Interlocking pocket is located in the down tube and can be removed and sealed if necessary. The cover protects against dirt and is very aesthetic.
The Flip Chip system presents fast geometry adjustment for better adaptation to the terrain and style of the environment. It is based on offset, double-positioned inserts in the upper linkage. Turning these inserts changes the headtube and seatube angles and bottom bracket height. A hex key is all you need to make the change.
