Ripmo is the latest addition to the legendary Ibis family. This 29" bike has taken the best from the carbon Ripmo, but is more affordable.
The aluminum frame of the new Ripmo AF weighs 3.75 kg including the DVO Topaz Inline shock, which provides high comfort and 147mm of travel. The frame utilizes the unique dw-link suspension system, making it the most versatile bike the Californian brand has created. The geometry was designed with an extended top tube and a shorter seat tube with a 76-degree angle, providing more space for tires up to 2.6". It is now possible to use a dropper post with up to 175mm travel with internal cable routing. For the first time, channels are structurally used in the frame for easy installation of cables and brake hoses. The head tube angle is 64.9°, bringing a new era of confidence, fun, and speed. The frame, of course, features a Boost rear end, meaning the dropout spacing is 148 mm. The frame set also includes an ISCG 05 adapter, onto which you can mount a chain guide.
The bike is equipped with a 12-speed Shimano SLX set. The SLX cassette ranges from 10 to 51 teeth.
The bike is fitted with a 160 mm DVO Diamond D1 fork with a 15x110 mm thru-axle. The shock is the aforementioned DVO Topaz Inline. Ample comfort and reliability in rough terrain are ensured by the new Maxxis Assegai tires with a width of 2.5" mounted on Ibis S35 wheels.
