Santa Cruz Hightower 4 C 29 26 LG BLK 90 L is a full-suspension trail/enduro MTB on 29" wheels, built for technical trails and longer descents. It combines 160/150 mm travel with a 1x12 drivetrain and targets a higher performance class. For experienced riders, it’s a platform for versatile trail riding with an emphasis on control at speed.
The frame is made from Carbon C composite with a 29" wheel platform and 150 mm rear travel. The VPP™ kinematics work with a FOX Float X Performance shock in 230x57.5. The concept reflects a trail geometry designed to handle higher loads on the descents. This bike is size LG and comes in black.
Drivetrain: Shifting is based on SRAM 90 Eagle T-Type in a 1x12 configuration. SRAM 90 Eagle DUB cranks with a 32t chainring are paired with a SRAM XS 1275 10–52t cassette.
Brakes: SRAM Maven Base disc brakes use SRAM HS2 rotors—200 mm up front and 180 mm in the rear. This setup is aimed at high loads on long descents.
Wheels and tires: The wheels are built on Reserve 30|TR AL rims and DT Swiss 370 hubs with Boost spacing 15x110 and 12x148. Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5 and Minion DHR II 29x2.4 tires use 3C compounds and EXO and EXO+ casings.
Cockpit: The cockpit features a OneUp Aluminum Bar and a OneUp Enduro Stem in 42 mm length. A OneUp Dropper Post 31.6 is complemented by an SDG Bel-Air V3 Lux-Alloy saddle.
With 160 mm travel on the FOX 36 Float Performance fork with Grip damping, the bike is aimed at stability in rough terrain. The 150 mm rear end and VPP™ kinematics support traction when pedaling through technical climbs. The 29" wheels improve rollover over roots and rocks and help carry speed through choppy ground. Maven Base brakes with a 200 mm front rotor help maintain consistent modulation on long descents.
Santa Cruz Hightower 4 C is designed for riders who want one bike for trail loops, enduro trails, and all-day mountain rides. You’ll appreciate it if you prefer a 29" platform and a wide-range 1x12 drivetrain for climbing. In practice, it sits between lighter trail bikes and longer-travel enduro machines.
