YETI has created a bike that takes the best from other models. It climbs hills nimbly yet effortlessly handles fun and challenging trails. The SB115 frame is made from a material called C/Series carbon fiber, which is a High modulus carbon that is slightly heavier than TORQ technology. The bike is thus lightweight but also stiff. The SB115 is equipped with a Fox Float DPS Performance shock with a 115 mm travel and a Fox 34 Performance fork with a 130 mm travel. The frame provides ample space for tires up to 2.5" wide. The frame uses Switch Infinity suspension technology, which conjures the feel of infinite travel, even with just 115 mm.
The geometry is exactly what every trail rider imagines: a long reach with a short stem, short rear triangle (440 mm), a slack head angle (67.5), and also a steep seat angle (74).
