The 2-PLY construction consists of four layers of fabric on the sides and six under the tread for maximum durability (twice as many layers as a standard MTB tire construction).
Its unique composition of Graphene 2.0 and 4C compounds (4 different compounds in various areas) creates an efficient tire with these benefits:
- 1st layer - enhances wet grip,
- 2nd layer - adds overall tire durability,
- 3rd layer - provides increased traction,
- 4th layer - offers puncture resistance.
Graphene 2.0 is a mixture of graphene compounds, which, as a material with a structure similar to carbon, has specific properties such as high strength. It is one of the strongest materials in the world.Graphene is used in many industries outside of cycling. With the Graphene 2.0 compound, Vittoria is now able to apply graphene in such a way to improve speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.
