Wolf Tooth bottom bracket BSA for Shimano 24mm black

Description

When your bike pedals smoothly and quietly, you feel like extending the ride with one more hill. Wolf Tooth BSA bottom bracket for Shimano 24mm black is exactly the kind of component you often only notice when, all of a sudden, nothing creaks, nothing drags, and everything feels solid and secure.

Main benefits

Wolf Tooth bottom bracket is designed for smooth operation and long service life even in conditions where the bottom bracket takes the most abuse—water, dust, mud, and frequent washing. Thanks to a well-thought-out sealing system, it protects the bearings from contaminants, so you can rely on consistent performance without unnecessary maintenance. Proprietary polymer axle sleeves help eliminate the annoying creaking that often occurs at the interface between the crankset and the frame. Serviceability is another plus: installation and removal are straightforward and standard, with no exotic procedures, making it suitable for regular workshop servicing as well as home maintenance.

Technical specifications

This is a cycling bottom bracket with the technical designation WBB-BSA-24-BLK, intended for frames with a BSA Standard threaded shell with a bottom bracket thread diameter of 34,7 mm. Compatibility is focused on cranksets with an axle diameter of 24 mm, typically for Shimano or FSA systems. The construction uses premium bearings made from hardened chromium bearing steel, and the bearing races are protected by the ACOSUR ZNA surface treatment for high corrosion resistance. The package includes a complete set of spacers, including shell spacers in size 2x 2,5 mm and 24 mm axle shims in thicknesses 0,5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm for precise setup.

Conclusion

This model is suitable for anyone who wants a reliable BSA bottom bracket for 24 mm spindle cranksets and doesn’t want to deal with creaking or rapid bearing wear. If you’re building or servicing a bike with a threaded bottom bracket and want smooth, well-protected, long-term stable performance, Wolf Tooth makes a lot of sense.
