The 2117 of Sweden women's Roxtuna jacket has a hybrid construction and is designed for higher intensity sports activities such as running, cross-country skiing or skialp.
The jacket is protected on the front by a windproof fabric with a water-repellent DWR finish. This treatment makes the jacket resistant to light rain without compromising its breathability.
The back of the jacket is a smooth, stretchy material without insulation. In addition, the back is extended so that it does not pull uncomfortably on the back and the jacket can be pulled down at the bottom.
The sleeve ends are elasticated, with thumb holes. The jacket has two zipped side pockets where any valuables can be put.
The outer material is 100% nylon, which is 48% recycled. The back is nylon and spandex.
Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
