At the core is a comfortable main panel made from stretch mesh fabric—a flexible, highly breathable mesh that supports airflow while riding. The protector pockets are covered by abrasion resistant outer textile, a tougher outer fabric designed for long-term use and contact with gear. A YKK locking zipper provides secure closure—a central zip with a lock that won’t creep open while riding. Included are removable CE Level 1 Certified shoulder and back protectors (shoulders to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1 and back to EN 1621-2:2014 Level 1), plus a pair of split Nucleon PLASMA Lite chest pads for sensible added coverage in a sensitive area.
The Alpinestars A-Motion Plasma in Black Camo is a practical choice for riders who want protection for MTB, gravel, e-bikes, and commuting—without the “armor” feel. Thanks to the removable protectors, it’s also easy to keep clean and adjust depending on where you’re riding.
