Beany Blaster XC 27.5 kids’ bike gold is a junior mountain bike built for cross-country riding and fast off-road performance. Frame and geometry

The frame is made from 6061 aluminum alloy with triple-butted tubing to combine stiffness with low weight. The geometry is designed for junior XC and follows the requirements for stable tracking. The bike is produced in sizes 13.5" and 15" and covers rider heights of 140–170 cm. Both sizes have a 65° head angle and a 437 mm rear-center length for control in rough terrain.

Components

Drivetrain: Shimano SL-U4000 CUES shifting is set up as 1x9 and is paired with a Shimano RD-U4000 GS rear derailleur. The Shimano CS-LG300-9 cassette has a 11–41-tooth range, and the Shimano CN-LG500 chain uses the Linkglide standard.

Brakes: Stopping power is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with matching hydraulic brake levers. Power modulation suits off-road riding as well as longer descents.

Wheels and tires: The wheels are built on Solely.jr alloy double-wall rims and Solely.jr alloy 32H hubs. KENDA 27.5x2.10 120TPI KEVLAR tires aim for low rolling resistance and confident grip on dirt.

Cockpit: Solely jr. alloy handlebars are 680 mm wide, and the Solely jr. alloy stem is 40 mm long. The Solely.jr alloy seatpost is 350 mm long, and the saddle is Beany.

Ride characteristics

Triple-butted tubing on the 6061 frame increases stiffness under pedaling and helps keep the weight race-ready. The slacker 65° head angle calms the handling on descents and on rough surfaces. A single chainring with an 11–41-tooth cassette supports a smooth cadence on climbs without dealing with a front derailleur. The 2.10" tires add traction and smooth out small bumps on farm and forest roads.
