The Bell Spark 2 MIPS was designed as a versatile helmet for most MTB terrains and disciplines - trail riding in bike centers, mountain ridges, and rugged XC courses.
It features a proven In-mold Polycarbonate Shell construction with 13 large ventilation openings and a comfortable Ergo Fit retention system. The front part of the helmet is shaped to channel sweat away from the goggles. An integrated adjustable visor is also part of the helmet.

In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
