With the IXS Carve 1.0 MIPS helmet, you can stay calm when the trail turns into rocks and roots. It fits securely, breathes well, and doesn’t get in the way—so you can focus only on your line and your pace.
MIPS® Air Node technology helps reduce rotational forces on impact while maintaining smooth airflow. As a result, your head stays better protected even on longer descents.
The Multi-Shell In-Mold construction with patented Head-Guard reinforcement spreads impact energy over a larger area. At the same time, the helmet retains strength and stability without unnecessary extra weight.
The 360° ErgoFit system wraps the head evenly, and fine adjustment keeps the helmet in place even in technical sections. Three-step height adjustment helps dial in the fit to match your head shape.
Practical details support everyday trail and enduro riding. You’ll appreciate the adjustable visor and storage space for sunglasses when moving between shade and open sections.
The shell construction is Multi-Shell In-Mold with patented Head-Guard reinforcement.
The protective system features MIPS® Air Node to reduce rotational forces.
Closure is handled by the magnetic FIDLOCK® SNAP system for quick operation with gloves.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet.
