Lightness

The world’s first single-crown single-leg XC suspension fork saves grams in the most obvious way. With one crown and one leg, all the material is concentrated in places where strength and stiffness are needed. It has one of the lowest weights on the market – it is 250 g lighter than the previous Lefty fork. Less unsprung weight compared to conventional forks provides better suspension response. The tapered steerer reduces weight and offers complete compatibility. One crown makes it king.

Race-Tuned Stiffness

Lefty Ocho has the best overall stiffness of any lightweight XC fork, which is great. But what sets it apart is not just how stiff it is, but rather how it is stiff. Stiffness, like many things, is a double-edged sword: too soft a fork, and you have a noodle that doesn't steer where you want it to. Too stiff or stiff in the wrong places, and the fork will hop and deflect instead of gliding and smoothing out. The unique single-crown fork structure of the Ocho and the triangular-lower leg mounting give us the ability to tune the stiffness of the fork.
