Cannondale Moterra Carbon – a new era of all-mountain eMTB
Cannondale presents the completely redesigned Moterra Carbon model for 2025 – a versatile mountain e-bike that combines maximum performance with low weight and precise control. It is created for adventurers who want to go far, fast, and comfortably even in the most challenging conditions. Thanks to the Bosch drive system and a massive 800Wh battery, Moterra is ready for any adventure.
New fully carbon frame
Moterra Carbon boasts a new fully carbon frame, which is almost 1 kg lighter than the previous generation. Along with updated e-system components, it offers greater agility, better control, and a sense of lightness even on demanding trails. The suspension is handled by a fork with a 160 mm travel and a shock with 150 mm travel, which, along with 29-inch wheels, ensures an excellent balance between confidence in technical sections and agility in twisty terrain. The result is a bike that climbs with ease and descends with confidence.
Refined geometry and kinematics
The new geometry features a lower bottom bracket, higher stack, shorter reach, and steeper seat angle – all in the name of better stability, comfort, and control. Combined with a newly tuned suspension kinematics that enhances traction and comfort while braking, Moterra behaves confidently and predictably in every situation.
Powerful drive and range
The heart of the bike is the latest Bosch Performance Line CX 5th generation motor, which offers quiet, smooth, and powerful performance. Two batteries are available – 800Wh or a lighter 600Wh – and an optional 250Wh Bosch PowerMore extender. The total range can thus reach up to 1050Wh – ideal for all-day excursions.
Smart details
The new "Trail HeadsUp" represents elegant integration of the Bosch Kiox 500 or 300 display directly into the stem. This keeps the cockpit clean and clear. A hidden kickstand mount, fully internal cable routing, 29" wheels, and the ability to equip the bike according to your own style make the Moterra Carbon a truly adaptable machine.
