Cannondale Trail 7 29 mountain bike Green is a rigid mountain bike for recreational and sporty riding off-road and on gravel. It belongs to the affordable class of trail hardtails for model year 2021 and targets riders who want functional equipment without complicated maintenance. Wheels and tires: WTB SX19 rims with 32 holes are laced to Shimano HBTX505 and Shimano FHTX505 hubs. Schwalbe Rocket Rick 29 x 2.25" tires with K-Guard protection are aimed at versatile use.
Cockpit: 6061 Alloy Riser handlebars have a 31.8 mm clamp diameter and a 700 mm width. The 6061 Alloy stem has a 31.8 mm clamp diameter and an 8° rise, while the Cannondale Stage 3 saddle is complemented by a Cannondale 3 seatpost with a 31.6 mm diameter.
The aluminum frame transfers power directly to the rear wheel, which you’ll notice when climbing out of the saddle. The SR Suntour XCT DS fork with 100 mm of travel helps on rough gravel and in lighter terrain. The 2.25" tires increase stability in corners and allow lower pressures depending on the surface.
