It has always been the choice for top World Tour riders on teams like CSC and Cervelo Test Team, and now it's back for a new generation of cyclists. The new Soloist is designed for riders and racers who want a high-performance machine for both daily training and competitions.
It offers a balance of low weight and aerodynamic advantages, providing a bike that is truly "just right." The Soloist is a bit lighter than the S5 but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5 and uses a threaded bottom bracket like the one found on the R5-CX. It's a race bike designed to handle both mechanical and electronic shifting, endure training miles in all weather conditions, and has the potential to accelerate at the right moment. That's the Soloist.

The handling geometry for the Soloist comes directly from the R5. The R5 is popular among both professionals and amateurs for its stability, precision, and confidence during challenging descents. Soloist lands in the performance spectrum between the S5 and the R5, but with a price tag that's less "World Tour" and more "road trip." It is 250g heavier than the R5 and 250g lighter than the S5. It is 190g slower than the S5 but 126g faster than the R5. It's the "just right" choice for riders seeking a smart and well-thought-out compromise.
The cables are routed internally for better aerodynamics but do not pass through the stem. We developed a system that runs the cables under the stem but over the headset cover. Whether you're changing positions or lending the bike to a friend with a different stem length, you don't have to bleed the brakes for an adjustment.
The Race version is equipped with high-end Reserve 40 carbon wheels with Zipp hubs.
The Soloist accommodates tires up to 34 mm wide (measured) with wheels wide enough to support them.
The BBRighT-47 bottom bracket, first seen on the R5-CX, is ideal for those who ride many miles without a team mechanic available daily. It ensures easy bottom bracket replacement and extends the frame's lifespan.
