Gravine is a high-performance gravel tire providing better traction on muddy, rocky trail sections.
With the growing popularity of gravel tires, Challenge has developed a new technology applied to the handcrafted construction, adding Xtra Protection (XP) for more enduring rides in harsh terrain.
The tire features Corazza Armor Silver technology for enhanced sidewall protection and also includes Corazza Armor Gold, a special layer of densely woven material placed on the tire that further reinforces it for more aggressive conditions.
The Corazza Armour protective layer in gravel tyres means a double layer of 220/260TPI SuperPoly for durability and stability.
A puncture protection system in the form of a special fabric placed between the casing and the rubber for increased durability. Certain tires designed for use on rough roads, cobbles and gravel contain PPS2, an additional layer of PPS between the tire and the inner tube.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves.
