Continental introduces its new Kryptotal Fr from the Gravity range, which was created for mixed surfaces (hard/loose), in different compound variants (Supersoft, Soft, Endurance) and construction variants (Downhill, Trail, Enduro), allowing the tires to adapt to a wide range of riders and riding conditions.
The front (Fr) version of the tire differs from the rear (Re) in its specific tread pattern, which is subjected to different riding demands. Together, they form an ideal combination for demanding terrain.
The benefit of the tire is the best performance for specific front wheel requirements, such as agility and stability.
This tread uses higher and lower lugs to achieve a balance between rolling and power transfer on mixed and loose surfaces.
Downhill is the most durable reinforced carcass construction in the Gravity range!
The Supersoft compound is the softest of all and is particularly suited for hard and mixed surfaces.
A layer of Apex rubber is added to the tire's carcass, which provides the tire with greater stability in corners.
The softest and grippiest compound for Gravity oriented MTBs, specially developed for the needs of Downhill and Enduro. TIres with this blend benefit mainly riders 100% focused on grip, traction and control.
Top level compound with a perfectly balanced ratio of grip, rolling resistance and durability. It is composed of refined synthetic rubber and natural rubber, to which additives forming a special surface are added. This mixture is produced exclusively at the Korbach plant in Germany.
This technology is based on a rubber layer that is inserted into the casing of the tire. The layer significantly helps to protect the sidewalls against twisting, which gives the tire more sidewall stability. This rigid sidewall then reduces the risk of punctures and keeps the tire on the rim. This protection is most used in DH, Gravity Enduro and Freeride.
Fully adapted for use on electric bikes, certified for bikes with a maximum assist speed of 25 km/h. These tires can of course also be used on conventional bikes.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture. We can most often come across names such as Tubeless Ready (TR or TLR), Tubeless Easy (TLE) or Tubeless Compatible (TC), etc. Despite different branding from manufacturers, the essence of the system is the same.
