The WTB Vigilante is synonymous with aggressive trail and enduro.

TriTec Compound
TriTec uses three rubber compounds to provide varying levels of traction, support, and durability based on their location in the tire. The top of the center knobs consists of a medium-hard durometer compound, ensuring traction and durability without reducing rolling efficiency, while the outer knobs feature the softest compound for maximum grip and slow rebound.
TCS Light vs TCS Tough
TCS Light tires have a single-ply casing, whereas TCS Tough tires are made of two layers. XC and trail riders often choose TCS Light for their low weight. In contrast, enduro and e-bike riders prefer TCS Tough for greater durability and cornering support. SG2 is a lightweight nylon layer, contained in single-layer TCS casings, that protects all areas of the tire from bead to bead against cuts and punctures. The technology also improves sidewall stability and overall tire support without the added weight of a solid (double-ply) tire. The fibers inside the SG2 reduce the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps between the fibers compared to traditional protective layers with round fibers. Third-party lab tests have shown that bead-to-bead SG2 provides 80% more sidewall protection than traditional single-ply tires without SG2.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture.
