Race King 2.2 is a durable tire tailor-made for XC racing or marathons and hardtails.
It features low rolling resistance and a high-volume construction. Suitable for frequent rides.
ORIGINALLY PACKAGED TIRE - all Continental tires in our range are intended for end-customer sales (aftermarket). This is not an OEM product!
The technology based on activated silica compounds called PureGrip was developed at Continental's German center in Korbach and ranks right behind the top BlackChili Compound. The compound is used in performance products in both road and mountain bike tires. Tires with Pure Grip Compound provide great grip, high durability and mileage. They are manufactured at the Continental factory in He-fei, China.
This system is an optimal combination of low rolling resistance, puncture protection and low weight. Additional puncture protection is provided by a tightly woven fabric. Despite this feature, the tire is very flexible with good shock absorption. This technology goes hand in hand with tubeless Kevlar tire beads.
Tubeless rims and tires have a design adapted for tubeless use, provided they are supplemented with sealant, tape and valves. Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits - the ability to run the tire with lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire, and less chance of a puncture. We can most often come across names such as Tubeless Ready (TR or TLR), Tubeless Easy (TLE) or Tubeless Compatible (TC), etc. Despite different branding from manufacturers, the essence of the system is the same.
Fully adapted for use on electric bikes, certified for bikes with a maximum assist speed of 25 km/h. These tires can of course also be used on conventional bikes.

Hello, is it possible to use this tire as tubeless? If so, which other one would you recommend to me with low rolling resistance on solid bike paths asphalt/concrete. Thank you
Dobrý den, je možné tento plášť použít jako bezdušový? Případně který jiný byste mi doporučil s nízkým valivým odporem na pevných cyklostezkách asfalt/beton. Děkuji

The weight 630g doesn’t match reality. The delivered tires are over 700g
Hmotnost 630g neodpovídá realitě. Dodané pláště mají přes 700g
Great for trips and in dry conditions in light terrain.
Na cesty a za sucha v lehkém terénu paráda.
good rolling quiet on asphalt more than once they saved me when it slipped out on rocks or roots durability I can’t rate, because it depends on who rides what and how
dobrý odval na asfaltu jsou tiché nejednou podržely, když mi to ulítlo na kamenech nebo kořenech výdrž nedovedu ohodnotit, protože záleží, co kdo a jak jezdí
