The Crankbrothers Stamp Lace platform shoes can handle it all, whether on the street or off-road. These shoes are suitable for downhill, trail, and enduro.
Rubber compound MC2 sole is optimized for grip and durability. The rubber compound provides protection and absorbs vibrations. The sole area is designed for maximum contact area with the pedal.
Tread design is specially crafted for Crankbrothers Stamp pedals, but holds well on any type of pedal. The stiff part of the tread under the pedal translates pedaling into forward movement. Softer zones of the sole under the toe and heel with directional tread allow confident walking uphill and downhill.
For a more comfortable ride experience, the shoes feature a padded EVA insole that cushions impacts.
The shoes secure easily and quickly using classic laces. To ensure the laces don't get in the way or tangle in the chain, the shoes have a pocket on the tongue.
The shoes are made from durable synthetic fiber. Ventilated mesh panels ensure high breathability. Rubber on the heel and toe provides protection for both the feet and the shoes.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials.
