The sole made from MaxGrip compound is the result of collaboration between Ride Concepts and Rubber Kinetics, which is behind Good Year tires. It is the most adhesive compound from Ride Concepts. It offers a balance between grip and durability. The right stiffness allows for quality power transfer to the pedals.
The midsole made of EVA foam enhances comfort and performance. The insole made of dual-layer EVA foam provides additional support and cushioning.
A lightweight technical upper made of nylon fabric features detailed TPU reinforcements, including inner toe protection. Welded construction is complemented by reinforced zones against abrasion at the toe and inner side for protection against regular wear and tear.
The four-way stretch tongue prevents dirt and dust from entering. The BOA L6 fit system provides precise tightening and quick release. TX4 textile laces are flexible and have low friction.
The heel loop makes putting on easier.
BOA is a technology developed by Boa Technology Inc. This patented technology is based on three integral parts: a micro-adjustable dial in the form of a rotating wheel, a thin extra-strong lace and low-friction lace guides. This system is an effective way to tighten shoes and other equipment across many sports (golf, winter sports, cycling, athletics, hiking, and others). EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
