Ruku v ruce s navyšováním výkonu se však v Panasonicu zaměřili i na hmotnost a celkový pocit z jízdy. Výsledkem je tedy motor, který je silnější než GX Ultimate, je lehčí vzhledem k užití hořčíkového pouzdra a má upravený software, kde došlo ke zjemnění a větší citlivosti dávkování výkonu z motoru.

Nejedná se o revoluční novinku. Ale to neznamená, že by motor nestál za povšimnutí. GX Ultimate si oblíbilo dosti zákazníků a ti, kteří chtějí něco lepšího to zde dostávají. Jedná se o levnější alternativu Bosch GEN5 a jen čas ukáže jak úspěšnou.
