A Czech company producing electric bicycles since 2012. Since 2015, their own production line has been producing tens of thousands of e-bikes every year, but even this was not enough for the growth of the company, which is why they built a new 20,000 m2 production hall in 2021. In order to recognize the individual models, the name of the e-bike contains numerical and letter characters.
The Eight series is a transition from the legendary Seven to the best Nine series. It offers a nice mix of both here. The Cross variant, is equipped with the OLI Sport engine, familiar and proven from previous seasons. The groupset is from American SRAM or Japanese Shimano (we expect to use SRAM for the time being due to the constant shortage of Shimano). So you'll find a 1x12 SX Eagle drivetrain (the equivalent of Shimano's Deore groupset - the "golden mean"). The Rock Shox Paragon is an air-sprung fork with 63mm of travel, fully sufficient for roads, trails and mild off-road. This is complemented by Schwalbe Active Energizer Plus 2.0" tires, which allow for fast riding with minimized rolling resistance thanks to a smooth center tread, but are stable and grippy on unpaved terrain. The cross series comes with an adjustable stem, which allows you to change the handlebar position by 60°, so you can ride in a sporty position, or even in a more upright position. Last but not least, there are different frames, the classic diamond frame often referred to as the men's frame, and Low-Step which refers to a lowered frame for easier getting on or off the e-bike.
OLI Sport is the second most powerful engine in the Italian manufacturer's portfolio. This engine just appeared in 2020 in Crussis. It is a highly reliable, powerful mid-engine. Ideal use is on better cross and mountain e-bikes where it will reach its potential. You will find it primarily in the price range between 60,000 Kč and 70,000 Kč.

The battery is one of the most valuable components on an e-bike. They often make up 1/3 of the total price of an e-bike. There are several factors that affect the range of an e-bike: type of terrain, tire profile, rider weight, assistance used, etc. you can read more in our blog.
The 630 Wh (17.5 Ah) battery is used here. The most commonly used cells are Samsung, Panasonic and LG.
