Focus AVENTURA2 6.7 Wave 29 600Wh is a low-step trekking e-bike for commuting, trips, and light bikepacking, with an emphasis on payload capacity and equipment. It’s built around a Bosch mid-drive motor and 29" wheels for stable tracking. Its spec targets the mid-range of trekking e-bikes for everyday use as well as multi-day rides.
The frame is made from 7005 aluminum alloy with hydroforming and a 148 × 12 mm rear thru-axle. The low-step Wave version makes mounting easier during frequent stops and when riding with cargo. The geometry is balanced for stability with a 68° head angle and 470 mm chainstays. The bike is available in sizes S, M, L, and XL with a reach of 405–465 mm and a stack of 670–707 mm.
Drivetrain: Shimano Cues shifting runs in a 1×9 configuration. It uses a Shimano CS-LG400 11–46 cassette and 165 mm Samox cranks with a 36-tooth chainring.
Brakes: Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes use two-piston calipers. Shimano EM300 rotors are 180 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: Mach1 Trucky32 wheelset is aluminum in 29". Schwalbe Jonny Watts 29 × 2,35" tires are aimed at a mix of asphalt and gravel.
Cockpit: JD Riser handlebars are 740 mm wide with a 20 mm rise. A 60 mm adjustable stem is complemented by a Post Moderne DP-211 34,9 mm suspension seatpost and Ergon GS10 Evo grips.
The Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor with 75 Nm of torque delivers smooth assistance when starting and on long climbs. The long 470 mm rear end adds stability with loaded panniers and when riding straight. The SR Suntour XCM 34 fork with a coil spring and 100 mm travel increases control on broken asphalt and gravel. The 2,35" tires improve traction and damping but require more precise pressure selection due to rolling resistance.
Focus AVENTURA2 6.7 Wave 29 is aimed at experienced riders who want a low-step trekking e-bike with full road equipment. It’s suitable for commuting, weekend trips, and higher-load bikepacking, including towing a two-wheel trailer. Thanks to the permitted system weight of 150 kg, it’s also relevant for riders carrying heavier cargo.
