Kellys Tygon RS10 Pine Forest is a hardtail mountain e-bike designed for trail riding and sporty off-road use, with a focus on efficient pedaling and easy maintenance. It sits in the mid-range in terms of components and motor performance, so it’s aimed at regular riders. It combines a Panasonic mid-drive motor, a large battery, and a 9-speed drivetrain for a wide range of routes.
The foundation is an Al 6061-T6 aluminum-alloy frame with a robot-welded construction and the lightweight design of the TYGON RS series. The battery is integrated and removable, making charging and servicing easier. The head tube features a 1.5" tapered design, and the frame uses a 12x148 mm Boost rear thru-axle. The bike is available in sizes M, L, and XL.
Drivetrain: SHIMANO Cues SL-U4000-9R shifting works with 9 gears and a SHIMANO Cues U4000 rear derailleur in a direct mount version. The SHIMANO Linkglide CS-LG300-9 cassette offers a 11–46T range and is paired with a Linkglide CN-LG500 chain.
Brakes: SHIMANO MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use BL-MT200 levers. GALFER Fixed Disc Wave DB03W rotors measure 180 mm front and rear.
Wheels and tires: The 29ers are built on KLS Draft 23 Disc 622x23 rims and SHIMANO TC500 hubs with Center Lock mounting. SCHWALBE Smart Sam Active Line 57-622 tires measure 29"x2,25 and feature K-Guard protection.
Cockpit: KLS Active RiseBar handlebars are 760 mm wide with a 31,8 mm diameter. The KLS Active stem is 50 mm long, complemented by a KLS Active 30,9 mm seatpost.
The hardtail setup with 29" wheels supports stability and smooth line-holding on rough ground. The SR SUNTOUR XCM32 AIR fork with 120 mm travel and lockout helps tailor the bike for climbs as well as smoother, hardpacked sections. The mid-drive PANASONIC GXM motor with 100 Nm of torque improves traction when pedaling slowly up steeper passages. The combination of an 11–46T cassette and a 36T chainring provides a usable range for technical climbs and a brisker pace.
This model is intended for riders who want a mountain e-bike for forest trails, longer loops, and regular hill training. The SHIMANO Cues setup with Linkglide technology targets increased durability under the load typical of e-bikes. With a weight of 22,90 kg in size L, it’s suitable for riders who are balancing range, handling, and ease of servicing.
