The D1 damper cartridge has undergone a significant update. The new cartridge design creates high-flow linear suspension dynamics for initial damping support without the worry of harshness at high speeds. The compression cartridge has been enlarged by 30%, significantly increasing sensitivity to small bumps and consistency in damping.
Off The Top Air System - is a unique feature of DVO forks that allows the rider to adjust the initial sensitivity of the fork. Typically, a fork with a firm feeling (higher air pressure) will have poor or no small bump sensitivity. DVO has solved this problem with OTT. Now a stiff setup can also have amazing small bump sensitivity. This is achieved by externally adjusting the preload on the negative springs. Increasing (turning clockwise) the OTT will make the fork more sensitive (softer) at the beginning of the stroke. Decreasing (turning counterclockwise) the OTT will make the fork less sensitive (firmer). The OTT feature does not change the mid or end stroke of your fork.
