Dynafit Blacklight 88 are top-of-the-line women's ski mountaineering skis for personal records in alpine terrain.
The new DYNAFIT Blacklight 88 weighs only 1140 grams (at 172 cm) and 88 mm underfoot. The name Blacklight combines the word "black" for its color, which also represents the 100% carbon construction, and the word "light," which means it is a very lightweight ski with a luminescent character.
Blacklight 88 is the lightest all-round ski from DYNAFIT and meets the demands of ambitious, fast ski mountaineers who are looking for a lightweight and practical ski mountaineering ski for any terrain and type of snow. Blacklight 88 has a 100% UD carbon top layer. Additionally, the Blacklight 88 is equipped with a 100% Paulownia wood core.
Thanks to its 3D construction, the ski reduces the overall weight to minimize swing weight in front of and behind the binding area. This ensures extremely stable ski handling despite the low weight. The rocker construction at the tip and tail and the sidecut are also tailored to each ski size, which is a unique feature in the ski mountaineering market.
This ensures the effective edge length is evenly proportional to each size, enabling it to function independently of the size. To guarantee the best possible power transfer from the skier to the skis, they are constructed with a full ABS sidewall.
The base also features a special race finish, ensuring you will be the fastest on the descent.
