When the wind picks up in the morning and you head into quiet slopes, you want skis that save your energy and hold a line. Fischer Transalp 84 C WS is a women’s ski touring model where low weight and confidence make all the difference.
The Tour designation helps you keep a brisk pace on the climb while still offering calm, composed handling on longer off-piste descents. Thanks to that, the skis feel well balanced all day long.
The Sandwich construction with ABS sidewalls delivers more precise edge control on firm snow. On traverses, the ski feels more secure and doesn’t force you to fight the uneven terrain as much.
The Air Tec wood core combined with carbon reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining strength. You’ll appreciate it most on repeated ascents and when carrying them over ridgelines.
The rocker makes turn initiation easier and helps in chopped-up snow. In softer terrain, the ski floats more willingly and doesn’t feel hooky.
Ski touring skis for the ski touring activity with the Tour designation.
Geometry with a 112-83-99 mm sidecut supports agility in varied terrain.
Weight is 1170 g at a length of 148 cm and 1140 g at a length of 162 cm.
At 162 cm, the ski has a 20 m radius and a sintered base.
Fischer Transalp 84 C WS women’s ski touring skis 2024/25 are aimed at tours where you want to climb efficiently and descend safely. The purple finish stands out, but in the mountains it still feels natural.
An 83 mm waist offers a sensible balance between confidence on hard snow and support in softer conditions. If you’re looking for lighter gear for all-day ski touring, this concept makes a lot of sense.
Depending on the area of application, the wooden core of Air Tec is reinforced with extremely stable Titanal.
Wood core combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic sandwich construction for harmonious flexibility and perfect response
Sintered bases have exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life.
