A versatile ski mountaineering ski under 1 kilogram for top performance in the mountains.
The name Blacklight combines the word not only for its color but primarily represents a 100% UD carbon construction, where the word "light" signifies that it is a very lightweight ski with a luminescent character. UD stands for unidirectional ("uni") arrangement of carbon fibers. Compared to classic carbon construction, this design offers higher tensile strength and greater durability while maintaining lower density.
At the same time, the skis are equipped with a 100% Paulownia wood core. The skis have a 3D construction, which reduces the overall weight, especially emphasizing the reduction of swing weight in front of and behind the binding area. This results in extremely stable ski handling. The rocker construction at the tip and tail, as well as the sidecut, are tailored to each ski size.
The skis are designed with a full ABS sidewall for the best possible power transfer. Additionally, the base features a special racing finish.
