Excellent Blacklight Pro ski touring skis for professional ski mountaineers. With 80 mm underfoot and a minimalist weight of 900 grams, it is the best companion for anyone aiming high.
The name Blacklight combines not only the word for its color but primarily represents the 100% UD carbon construction, and the word "light" means that it is a very lightweight ski with a luminescent character. UD stands for unidirectional arrangement of carbon fibers. Compared to conventional carbon construction, this design provides higher tensile strength and greater durability while maintaining a lower density.
At the same time, the skis are equipped with a 100% Paulownia wood core. The skis feature a 3D construction that reduces overall weight, with a particular focus on decreasing the swing weight in front of and behind the binding area. This ensures that the ski's maneuverability is extremely stable. The rocker construction at the tip and tail, as well as the sidecut, are tailored to each ski size.
The skis are engineered with full ABS sidewall for the best possible power transfer. Additionally, the base has a special racing finish. Thanks to the new PIN-SKIN system, the skins are no longer attached to the tail. Instead, they are secured by a small pin and a corresponding insert directly in the ski.
