The Dynafit Speed 20 backpack was developed for Speed skitouring enthusiasts with a focus on mountaineering. It offers versatile use with a volume of 20 liters while weighing only 460 grams.
With its 20 l volume and smart features, it offers versatile space for gear, yet you don't carry an extra gram on your back, providing great efficiency when ascending.
Anatomically shaped back and shoulder straps offer impressive comfort and breathability. The abrasion-resistant Ripstop nylon material provides necessary durability against abrasion and wear.
For perfect organization and quick access to your gear, the Speed 20 has intelligently planned compartments. The backpack is equipped with a tried-and-true safety box, an externally accessible compartment ideal for stowing items quickly. Additional features include a ski carrying system with a loop and hook, a removable bottle holder to keep your liquids within reach, and a practical waterproof pocket inside the main compartment for items that shouldn't get wet.
The Speed 20 backpack is complemented with options for attaching a helmet and ice axe, as well as an adjustable chest strap.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
